Akshay kumar was born in 9 September 1967 in Amritar Punjab India. Akshay Kumar full name is Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia. He belongs to Punjabi Hindu family. His father Hari Om Bhatia was an army officer and mother Aruna Bhatia Was an Indian Film Producer. He married to Twinkle Khanna, she is famous actress. They have two kids together. He is son-in-law of famous actor Rajesh Khanna and actress Dimple Kapadia. Aksay kumar has one youngest sister Alka bhatia, She married to Surendra Hirananderi.
From a early age he was interested in sports. His father too enjoyed wresting. He lived and grew up in Delhi. He received His early school eucation from Don Bosco high school. He enrolled for higher education, but he dropped out as he was not much intersted in studies. Akshay kumar went to bangkok to learn martial arts and Thia boxing. in Thailand where he learned Muay Thia and worked as a Chef and waiter. He also worked as a background dancer in many movies. He began his carrer in 1991 with Saugandh, but he first sucess came a year later with the action movie Khiladi. His comic performances in films such as Singh Is king, Bhool Bhulaiyaa and Hera Pheri. He won Filmfare awards for his negative role in and for comic performance. He earned futher notice for the social films Kesari, Padman. He has worked as a stunt actor he as often performed many dangerous stunts in his movies.
He worked in 100 Bollywood movies over 29 years. He received many awards, he has won two Filmfare awards, and a national film award for best actor for the films. He was awarded the Padma Shri By the Government of India. He got Asian Awards for his outstanding achievement In Hindi cinema.
He donated one crore for construction of school building in Jammu and Kashmir.
